The abdominoplasty helps relieve pelvic and back pain that may be experienced by the patient, whether men or women. This cosmetic, restorative and often therapeutic surgery can also provide a solution to a number of problems such as diastasis or an umbilical hernia.
Abdominal surgery, called abdominoplasty, involves removing excess fat and skin. It allows reshaping the abdominal area, as well as strengthening the muscles of the abdominal wall. It lasts about 2 h 30 min to 3 hours. The scar is usually thin and linear. It evolves over time. The result can be judged only one year after the surgery. The surgeon will sometimes suggest combining abdominoplasty with liposuction.
Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery that effectively removes fat located on one or more parts of the body. This surgery allows to obtain a more refined and harmonious body shape. Indeed, it is frequently performed in Tunisia, on male or female patients. Fat liposuction can be performed on different areas such as the arms, belly, hips, thighs, buttocks and sometimes even the face or neck. Liposuction surgery lasts approximately 2 hours. Bruising and swelling on the treated areas is common after liposuction and will disappear after 15 days approximately. However, the final result will only be visible 6 to 12 months after the intervention.
Body lift 109
The body lift, also called circular lipectomy, is a fairly common cosmetic surgery that removes excess fat and skin from the abdominal belt, hips, back and buttocks. Whatever the reason, this surgery is recommended for patients who often find themselves with severe sagging skin around the abdominal belt. In fact, it aims to remove excess skin over the entire middle third of the body, tighten the skin of the belly, back, hips and buttocks, and remove excess fat. This surgical procedure is often accompanied by liposuction of the treated areas. Scars will diminish over time. However, the patient should wait about a year to fully appreciate the final result.
Arm lift 108
Arm lift, also known as brachial lifting, brachioplasty or lifting of the inner side of the arm. Indeed, it restores the skin on the inside of the arms. It is advised for patients who suffer from skin excess in this area following significant weight loss, pregnancy, or simply the effects of aging of the skin. The intervention then aims to remove the excess skin, reduce the underlying fatty infiltration and reshape the whole. The incision can be vertical, longitudinal, running on the inside of the arm or horizontal, in one of the folds of the armpit. The final result is appreciated one year after the arm lift surgery.
Thigh lift 98
Thigh lift surgery helps to re-tone the skin of the inner side of the thighs. A sagging skin or excess skin may occur after substantial weight loss, pregnancy, or simply over years. In fact, it removes excess skin and fat. The scar is thus hidden in a natural fold and will therefore be quite discreet. It is often pink during the first 3 months, and generally fades after the 3rd month. The final result can be seen after about 8 to 12 months after the procedure. Thighs will be refined and their skin will be toned and rejuvenated.
Back lift 102
The back lift is recommended when the patient suffers from unsightly rolls of fat in the back and wants to get rid of the excess fatty tissue located at the contour of the bra. In fact, liposuction or a back lift is an effective solution to eliminate this unsightly fat. The surgeon may sometimes combine the back lift with other procedures such as a breast lift. The scar takes about a year for the scar to be as invisible as possible. As a result, the folds at the level of the upper back disappear which gives a harmonious effect of the back.
Hips lift 109
The hips lift is a cosmetic surgery intervention that considerably refines the body shape and offers a lasting or even permanent result. The hips lift is the combination of two techniques: Liposuction, which helps reshape the lines and shapes of the hips by sucking up excess fat, and lifting which reduces the excess skin on the hips. Thus, they are complementary. The scar from a hip lift is located in the groin area. If the lifting was performed alone, there are two lateral scars. At first, they will be visible, but over the months, they diminish to become more discreet. The final result can be appreciated from three months.
