Facelift 107

The facelift is an aesthetic facial surgery, intended to rejuvenate the aspects of the face and neck. This surgery  removes the effects of aging, improves the appearance of the skin on the face and neck by reducing wrinkles. It also helps to tighten the muscles.

This type of intervention can be considered from the age of forty depending on the case.

There are several face lift techniques. Therefore, the aesthetic surgeon will determine the best approach according to the condition of the patient’s face and their needs. The first results appear between 2 and 6 months approximately. However, the final result is appreciable from the 9th month.

Blepharoplasy 103

The blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic intervention of the eyelids which significantly corrects dark circles and excess skin on the lower and upper eyelids. In fact, the surgeon treats puffiness, folds, dark circles and excess fat.  This surgery is destined for both women and men who are annoyed of their eyelids or dark circles.

There are several blepharoplasty techniques. Indeed, the surgeon will choose the most appropriate technique in accordance with the patient’s degree of excess skin and fat on the eyelids in order to reach the desired results.  The final result will be seen after no less than 6 months.

Neck lift 112

The neck lift, also known as platysmaplasty, is intended to correct wrinkles and sagging muscles of the neck by removing the excess skin.

Neck lift involves fixing the thin neck muscle (platysma) in front of and behind the ear in order to give the neck a rejuvenated and lifted appearance. In some cases, the surgeon may recommend a neck lift as part of a facelift to obtain an optimal result on the face and neck. And when necessary, a lipostructure can be added particularly when there is a double chin. After such surgery, the patient will find a smooth and tight skin of the neck. The lower face therefore regains its shape.

Temporal lift 108

The temporal lift, also called mini lift, participates in the opening of the gaze by raising the lateral portion of the eyebrow (tail of the eyebrow), thus making it possible to restore a correct distance between the eyelashes and the eyebrow.

This procedure is frequently associated with an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) in order to treat the entire upper third of the face and unfolds crow’s feet wrinkles. Therefore, it offers the face a new harmony.

Temporal lift procedure is recommended to any patient presenting a sagging skin of the temporal region associated or not with a fall of the upper eyelid and the tail of the eyebrow.

Rhinoplasty 117

Rhinoplasty corrects any defects of the nose (bump, deviated nose, nostrils too wide or too narrow, etc)  by acting on the bone, cartilage and nostrils in order to adjust its morphology and  to make the whole face more harmonious. In fact, there are two techniques: A reduction rhinoplasty, the surgeon removes the excess bone. An augmentation rhinoplasty, the surgeon performs a cartilage or bone graft.

Rhinoplasty can also be used to resolve respiratory problems. Indeed, it is called a functional rhinoplasty. It acts on the nasal septum to restore smooth breathing.

The first results will appear as soon as the swelling of the nose disappears. Whereas the final result can only be appreciated from the 9th month.

Facial fat injection 105

The injection of fat in the face, also known as face lipofilling, is a minimally invasive surgical procedure and gives a very natural result. In fact, the surgeon removes fat in certain parts of the patient’s body (thighs, belly, etc) by the liposuction technique, then reinjects it into the face (cheeks, lips, chin, etc) to fill the wrinkles and furrows that have appeared. Thus, the skin becomes smoother and firmer. Before the facial fat injection or lipofilling procedure, the patient should explain to the surgeon their expectations. The surgeon on his part will advise them of the options available, so to obtain the desired results.

Genioplasty 99

Genioplasty is surgery to correct the shape of the chin in order to improve the balance of the patient’s face.  The suregon can reduce the bony tip of the chin, called reduction genioplasty, by cutting the bone, or can improve the chin, known as augmentation genioplasty, by inserting a silicone implant under the muscles in case the chin is receding. The ideal candidates for genioplasty are people above 18 years and in good health.

The result is visible immediately after the intervention, but the final result will be seen approximately after the healing and total absorption of the edema.

Otoplasty 117

Otoplasty is intended to correct the protruding ears or lobes. In fact, it allows the ears to be repositioned ideally and without trauma. This surgery is recommended for patients who want their ears to have a better shape and be better proportioned. Depending on the case, the surgeon will fix the shape and the size of the ears and, and therefore make them more harmonious with the face. Nevertheless, it is possible to reshape the cartilage of the ear and correct the appearance of the pinna. The results of the otoplasty are excellent. The scar, very discreet, is hidden behind the ear. In the correction of the lobe, the shape of the suture makes the scar undetectable.

Lips reduction 102

Lips reduction intervention aims to reduce the size of the lips, whether the upper of lower lips, without leaving a scar in order to achieve a mouth in harmony with the rest of the face. In addition, this surgery allows patients to end up with thinner lips and a more sensual mouth.

The result is appreciated after complete disappearance of the very frequent post-operative swelling around the 2nd post-operative month. However, the final result is seen almost 6 months after the intervention. Lips reduction can be combined with other facial surgeries such as a facelift to obtain a more optimal rejuvenating effect.

Bichat ball extraction (Bichectomy) 103

The Bichat ball is an anatomical fatty structure in the cheeks. It give the face a chubby and childish appearance. Bichectomy sculpts the cheek by removing the fat from Bichat. It is a simple and effective surgical procedure to obtain hollow cheeks and a better contour of the face at the level of the angle of the jaw and the cheekbones by increasing their volume. This procedure lasts around 30 to 45 minutes. It offers impressive result and it is immediately noticeable. In fact, the cheekbones are refined and the face is reshaped.

The final result will appear approximately 3 months after bichectomy.
